HYMENOPTERA > APOCRITA | Parasitica > Ichneumonidae > Pimplinae > Ephialtini

This individual was positively identified as Zaglyptus multicolor, a small pimpline ichneumon of the Ephialtini tribe. I won't try to guess the size, but you get an indication of just how small it was from the veins on the leaf, so I was rather pleased that the photos came out as well as they did.

There are just 16 records on the NBN Atlas at the time of this update.
